Known for photographing the world’s most beautiful women like Halle Berry, supermodels Adrianna Lima and Heidi Klum and with clients like Givenchy, Cartier, and L’Oreal Paris, top fashion photographer Paula Kayne, has created a stunning fine art series titled “Au Naturel,” debuting April 9th from 7-10pm at The Loft at Liz’s Gallery in Los Angeles.

Featured as part of the gallery’s exhibit “About Face – A New Perspective on Photographic Portraiture,” Kayne’s series will be on display through May 10th, 2011.  The collection of nudes utilizes elements like sand and clay, creating a photographic illusion her models are one with the Earth.

“I’m truly inspired by famous Parisian painter Adrienne Jalbert, working with textures, natural materials, watercolors and acrylics to complete the imagery I envision,” Kayne says.

This marks the first fine art gallery showing for the world-renowned fashion photographer, “I’m thrilled to be a part of this esteemed exhibit.  I love “About Face’s” theme of incorporating mixed media with traditional photographic portraiture.  It’s something I’m very passionate about,” Kayne says.

The famed Sunset Marquis Hotel has reportedly already purchased more than 50 of Kayne’s “Au Naturel” collection to feature in their villas, praising Kayne’s innovative approach.
Kayne’s talent caught the world’s attention when she landed the cover of the coveted Photo Magazine with her photo of legendary supermodel Laetitia Casta on the beautiful white beaches of the Yucatan coast. “She was a photographers dream to work with.”

As co-founder and partner of Marc Kayne Photography, over the last 25 years, the married team has traveled the world’s most exotic locations to photograph famous beauties including supermodels Adrianna Lima, Heidi Klum, Rosie Huntington Whitley, Candice Swanepoel, Karolina Kurkova, Miranda Kerr, and style icons Halle Berry, Sharon Stone, Cameron Diaz, Katie Holmes and Leighton Meester.

The young couple landed their first assignment for French Vogue and the rest is history. Based in Milan, Paris, and Los Angeles, their work has been published in Vogue, Glamour, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Grazia, Amica, GQ, Tatler, Ocean Drive and Harpers Bazaar.  They have produced advertising for American Express, L’Oreal Paris, Nordstrom and Neutrogena.  They have also worked with top European fashion designers including Nina Ricci, Givenchy, Enrico Coveri and Lauren Vidal. The Kayne’s involvement with charitable causes includes their work with The World Wildlife Foundation Campaign with pro tennis player Steffi Graf and the Rainforest projects photographed in Costa Rica.

On working with some of world most famous faces Paula says, “Their beauty and sensuality is so powerful it overcomes all my expectations.”
